Single Sculler Synek Gets Second Child

Czech Republic's top rower, Ondřej Synek has become a father for a second time. His wife Pavla gave birth to son Matyáš on 17 August.

The news has been brought by Synek's official website and a variety of Czech media outlets. Synek's elder child, daughter Alice, was born a few days after the Czech single sculler raced in the World Championships in 2010. Similarly, he got a second child shortly after this year's Olympic race.
